Vincent Peter Messina, of Ferndale, passed away October 30, 2017, at 59 years of age. Loving father of Dominic Messina; former spouse of Susan Messina; dear brother of Cathy (Bob) Register and Robert Messina.
Vincent was born on November 28, 1957 in Detroit to the late Peter and Cecile Messina. He enjoyed deer hunting, his music, and cooking, especially for his family and friends
The family will greet friends from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, November 9 at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights. A Memorial Mass will take place at 10:00am, Friday, November 10 at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, 2500 E. 12 Mile Rd., Warren. Memorial visitation from 9:30am until time of mass at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Vince’s honor to the American Red Cross.
