Alvin Lewis Styles

Born on July 24, 1942 in Muskogee, Oklahoma he was the son of the late Paul Edward Styles and Jennie Gregory Styles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Styles.

Lewis was the former owner/operator of Styles Transmissions. He was a veteran in the US Army. Lewis had a love and passion for drag racing. He also loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was very well known and had many friends. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Anne Styles; his children, Holly Carson (Rusty), Robert Campbell (Jessica); a brother, Glen A. Styles (Brenda); three grandchildren, Chase Campbell (Lanie), Faith Campbell (Kaleb) and Rayanna Carson; one great grandchild, Zayne Donald. Lewis also is survived by multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6 – 8 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Fitzgerald officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Lynchburg American Legion Post #16.
