Born in High Point, NC, she was the daughter of the late M.M. Montgomery and Elsie Whitesel Lindsey and step-father Irvin Lindsey.
Survivors include two children, Brenda W. Ogden and husband Tad and Bobby N. Woody, Jr. and wife Jody all of Madison Heights; three brothers, Irvin Lindsey, Jr., Charles Lindsey and Roger Lindsey; one sister, Phyllis Evans; four grandchildren, W.E. Ogden, III, William Ogden and his fiancé Trisha, Bobby L. Woody and wife Nicole and Roger Woody and wife Michelle and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 at Briarwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at her residence.
