Austin Price

Dennis Austin Price, eight year old son of Patricia Murphy Price of Madison Heights and James Edward Price of Madison Heights, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Austin was born, November 22, 2002 in Lynchburg and was a second grade student at

Amelon Elementary School. He was a member of Amelon United Methodist Church.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Murphy and great-grandfather, Earl White.

In addition to his parents, Austin is survived by one brother, Aaron Ponton; two sisters, Chelsie Price and Kourtney Price, all of Madison Heights; grandparents, William A. Murphy and wife, Kathy of Amherst and Dennis and Sue Bradshaw of Madison Heights; great-grandmother, Katherine White, also of Madison Heights; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and special friends, Chance Tyree and Gavin Price.

A celebration of Austin’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Whitten Monelison Chapel in Madison Heights with the Rev. Earl F. Clarkson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant U.M. Church Cemetery in Amherst County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
