She was born on November 23, 1949 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Earl and Irene Ward.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Duffy.
Faye was a member of Eastbrook Baptist Church. In addition to her love of the bible, she also cherished her family and birdwatching.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Faye Stinnett and Sara Wade (Keith Franklin); three brothers, Earl, Bobby, and
David Ward; three sisters, Christine McKinney, Grace Bagby, and Juanita Ennis; two grandchildren, Kathryn Wade and Kendrick Morgan
as well as one great grandchild.
The family would like to express special thanks to her Liberty Ridge family.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm – 8 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Eastbrook Baptist Church where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am
on Friday, June 16., 2017, with Rev. Curtis Walkup officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
