Betty Terry Branham, 79, of Lynchburg, Passed away, Monday, January 11, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born March 6, 1941 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Steward Loving Terry and Cecile Hamilton Terry and was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Johns. She was retired from the Central Virginia Training and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Monacan Nation. Betty is survived by two sons, Marshall Branham (Donna) of Glasgow and Dean Branham (Donna) of Lynchburg; a sister, Geraldine Branham of Madison Heights; 2 brothers, Bobby Terry (Myrtle) of Monroe and Jesse Terry (Jearlene) of Madison Heights; a brother-in-law, Allen Johns; 4 grandchildren, Amy (Brad), Bradley, Jeffrey (Amanda), Collin (Sammy); 8 great grandchildren, and one on the way. She is also survived by her church family, neighbors, friends, extended family and her beloved pet, Marley. There will be an open time for family and friends to pay their respects at Whitten Monelison Chapel from 9-3 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2021. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Nina Salmon officiating. When attending services, please maintain social distancing and wear a mask for everyone’s safety. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Paul's Episcopal Mission.
