Born January 7, 1925, in Youngstown, OH, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Avilda Davis Cleaver. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors include her son, William D. Shields and his wife Diane, of Amherst; four grandchildren, Lynda Kemmery and husband Jeff, Teresa Pollak, Robert Shields and wife Dona, and Darren Shields and wife Phyllis; six great-grandchildren, Loralyn and Kevin Kemmery, Kaleigh Pollak, Krysten, Cody and Evie Shields, other relatives and friends.
