

Born May 31, 1962, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Ralph Wayne Stinnett and Charlotte Chittum Stinnett, of Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Lillian Chittum, and Eldridge and Blanche Stinnett.
Bonnie was a former employee at Lynchburg College for 17 years, she later became assistant manager at Schewels Furniture Company, in Amherst. She attended schools in Buena Vista, and graduated Parry McClure High School.
She was a very loving and kind person, always willing to help anyone. Bonnie loved shopping with her mom at the Goodwill stores, as well as yard sales. She loved being with her family, and friends, she loved her cats and dogs, working in the yard and grilling. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She was a giver of many gifts to many people.
Survivors also include her brother R. Wayne Stinnett Jr. and wife Angela, of Roanoke; adopted sister, Kathy Clark and partner Clarence Harris; adopted brother, William Arthurs and partner Sandy Carter. She also leaves behind her niece Taylor Marie Stinnett; and nephews, Trae M.L. Stinnett, and Brandon Wayne Stinnett; her friend, Steve, aunts, uncles, and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 12, 2012, from 6-8:30 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Smyrna UMC Cemetery, by the Rev. Gary Moore.
