

Carol Harvey Dillon of Lynchburg went home to be with her Lord Friday June 18, 2010. She was the loving wife of Howard Dillon for 47 years.
Born September 23, 1944 in Beckley, WV Carol was preceded in death by her parents the late Charlotte and Everett Mason Harvey of Lynchburg. Carol is survived by not only her devoted husband Howard but her son, Mark of Lynchburg; daughter, Terri Waters and her husband, Mike of Laurinburg, NC, and grandsons Chad, Nicholas, and Spencer; five step grandchildren; one brother, Ed Harvey and his wife Fran and their daughter, Carey of Lynchburg, and a host of extended family and friends.
The family wishes to thank Carol’s special friends Eileen Pepiot of Lynchburg, and Bonita Bifulco of Concord for their wonderful friendship and love of Carol, and also Dr. Jeremy Hardison and the nurses of the North Pulmonary unit at Lynchburg General Hospital for the special and devoted care during the last few weeks.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM Monday June 21, 2010 at North Bedford Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles Stinson, Rev. Chad Brady, and Rev. Roger Roller with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 6:30 PM Sunday June 20, 2010 at Whitten Monelison Chapel in Madison Heights, VA and other times at the residence.
In following Carol’s wishes and her long time work the family asks that you support her favorite cause and help a young mother choose life with a memorial contribution to the Liberty God Parent Home or the Boonsboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company in lieu of flowers.
