

Born on September 1, 1949, in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Charles A. Moore and Phyllis Masino Moore.
Charles was affectionately known by his family and friends as “Chuck” or “PopPop.” He loved his New York Yankees and watching Fox News. Chuck was a man of God whose heart was big, kind, loving, and compassionate and he loved his family as Christ loved the church. He attended Tree of Life Ministries.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a brother, David E. Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Charles A. Moore, Louis L. Shann, Connie L. Moore, Nicole Woody and husband, Bobby, and Amanda C. Abrams and husband, Tom; nine grandchildren, Charles A. Moore III, David Echavarria, John K. Cunningham and wife, Jessica, Mark R. Moore, Charles Cunningham Jr., Leo Echavarria, Tommie C. Abrams, Laura Woody, and Dixie Woody; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Cunningham and Anastasia Moore; brother, Mark Moore and wife, Gail; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, with Pastor Spencer Drake officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Betty’s residence.
