Christopher James Martin

Born January 10, 1978 in Lakewood, NJ, he was the son of Ruth Virginia Martin of Monroe and the late Henry George Martin. Christopher was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Jeff Martin. He was a farm worker with his family’s business, Brierfield Stables. He was a member of Bethany Methodist Church in Monroe.

Christopher enjoyed doing many things, he especially enjoyed his many years of working with horses, He also enjoyed fishing, landscaping, and attending monster truck shows.

In addition to his mother, Christopher is survived by three sisters, Linda S. Martin of Monroe, Peggy Jones (Joey) of Portsmouth, and Patricia Johns (Percy) of Monroe; two brothers, John Martin of Madison Heights and Scott Martin (Brenda), of Monroe, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Helen Moore and dear friends for more than twenty-five years, Steve and Michelle Harris and their kids, Keith, Hannah, and Kendra.

In keeping with Christopher’s wishes, he will be cremated.
