David Dudley

Bruce David Dudley, 66, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born July 9, 1952 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Louie E. and Reva Mayhew Dudley and was also preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Edward Dudley and two sisters, Barbara D. Wood and Janet D. Litchford. David was a retired salesperson with Belk Department Store with more than thirty-seven years of service. He was a member of Fairview Christian Church. David is survived by his sister, Mary D. Tibbs and husband Gene of Madison Heights; several nieces, nephews, and friends and a special friend, Ronnie Whirley. A funeral service to celebrate David’s life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Fairview Christian Church with Pastor Curtis E. Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends, at the church, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and other times at the home of his sister, Mary, 302 Mountain View Drive, Madison Heights.
