
Born October 2, 1950, in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Emery Thomas Ranson, and step-daughter of the late William Blass Ranson. She is survived by her mother, Helen Garrett Ranson, of Madison Heights.
Donna was a longtime employee of Liberty University, having worked in the Financial Aid Dept., and the bookstore. She was most recently employed at Inservice America.
She was a member of Union Christian Church.
Survivors also include her two daughters, Tracy Heisler and husband Joe, of Evington, and Kim Argenbright and husband Gary Argenbright Jr., of Madison Heights; her brother, Thomas Garrett Ranson, and wife Mary, of Amherst; 7 grandchildren, Mason, Noah, and Wyatt Heisler, Kayla, Jessica, Gary Argenbright III, and Madalyn Argenbright, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Union Christian Church, by Pastor Mac McClintock. Interment will follow in Union Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight April 27, 2010, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence of her mother, Helen Ranson.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Union Christian Church.
