Ellen Lucille Fulcher Fulcher Mayberry

Born February 26, 1931, in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Howard C. Fulcher and Lena Worley Fulcher. She was retired from G.E.

Survivors also include four children, Darlene Terry and husband Lee, of Amherst, Brenda McFaden and husband Harold, of Monroe, J.R. Mayberry, and Joseph Mayberry Jr., both of Amherst; two sisters, Virginia Tyree, of Lynchburg, and Kathleen Chapman and husband Jon, of Madison Heights; three brothers, Bill and Sonny Fulcher, both of Lynchburg, and Johnny Fulcher and wife Gloria, of Madison Heights; sister-in-law, Ann Fulcher, of Madison Heights; four grandchildren, Troy McFaden, Chris Terry and wife Liz, Jackie McFaden Gilreath and husband Chad, and Greg Terry and wife Laurie, 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7-8:30 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Meade Cemetery, by the Rev. Charles Stinson.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Monelison Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, or to the American Heart Association.
