

John 14: verses 2-3, In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Fay went to join her Lord in her new home on the afternoon of May 30, 2011 from the University of Virginia Hospital. Also there to welcome Fay to her new home were her late husband, Massie T. Cash, Jr; parents, Lorene and William Hawks; brothers, Raymond, Nathan, and Billy Hawks and son-in-law, Wally Clark.
Born June 14, 1930 in Lynchburg, Fay resided in Madison Heights and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved her Lord and church, Sandusky Baptist, where she was active and attended regularly, until her health prevented her from doing so.
Surviving her is a daughter, Cindy Clark and fiancee, Marshall Tomlin; sons, Danny Cash and wife, Becky, Randy Cash and wife, Roberta, Willie Cash and wife, Robin and Tommy Cash and wife, Amanda; sister, Joyce Kent and husband, Walter; brother, David Hawks and wife, Linda; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild, on the way.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Sandusky Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Vogt officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and other times at the home of her son, Danny, 113 Ashmont Drive, Madison Heights.
