Born May 31, 1950 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of Helen Dudak Heran of Stratford, CT and the late Frank Joseph Heran, Jr. She was a retired Manager with Quick-E Foods in Madison Heights and was a huge fan of the New York Giants. She was of Catholic faith.
In addition to her mother, Fran is survived by her fiancé, Henry Archie of Madison Heights; three children, Erin Wilkins and husband Matt of Appomattox, Brian Southerland of Lynchburg and fiancée Tracie Welsh, and Kelly Southerland of Lynchburg; one brother, Dennis Heran of Tuscon, AZ; seven grandchildren, Cora, Kaitlyn, Brayden, Grayson, Maya, Maegan, and Isabella.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Whitten Monelison Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
