

She was one terrific lady who has gone to be with her Savior for all eternity. She led a wonderful life and would do anything to help someone. She was in the Navy and christened a ship. She enjoyed art and working crossword puzzles. She also had an intense love for animals, especially cats!
She worked at Wiley & Wilson and then at Lynchburg Gas Company for many years.
She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her two sons, John Forrest Collins and Richard Stewart Collins; a niece, Laura Hoffman and husband Paul; a nephew, Richard Ricketts; and many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Elks National Home for their wonderful care of Frances.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Madison Heights, with the Pastor Jeff Porter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at 1:15 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
