Gwendolyn Stennette Hudson

April 2, 1941 - January 29, 2025

Gwen is survived by her husband of 66 years, Russell E. Hudson, Jr. In addition to her husband she is survived by her two sons, Steve and his wife Phyllis of Appomattox, VA, Andy and his wife Crystal of Beaufort, SC; seven grandchildren, Krystle Harada, Nicole Hamlett, Wesley Hudson, Michelle St John, Olivia Hudson, Elizabeth Hudson and Celeste Hudson; five great-grandchildren, Isaiah Harada, Gabriel Harada, Jamison Harada, Rylie Hamlett and Grayson St John. She is also survived by a sister, Nancy S. Howard, and a brother Coy Stennette; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell and Mary Neas Stennette, a son, Edward Scott Hudson, and a grandson, Jeffrey E. Hudson.

A memorial service celebration of Gwen's life will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11:00 am at Elon Presbyterian Church.
