2022 to be reunited with her "little marine" husband of 65 years John W. Lee.
Born on August 7, 1931, in Lynchburg to the late Braxton T. and Mary W. Davidson. In addition
to her parents and husband; She was also preceded in death by 7 siblings; Thomas "Rudolph",
Dallie, Ruby, Franklin, Harold "Bugg", Ruth and Cynthia and one great-granddaughter; Zoey
Oldfield.
Helen is survived by; son John M. (Doddie) Lee and 2 grandsons, Bryan and David (Harlie);
daughter Michele (Randy) Shinaberry and granddaughter Kayla with great-grandson Cayden
and grandson USMC Sergeant Michael (Samantha) with great-grandson Noah; and daughter
Kathy (Jason) Oldfield and a loved family friend Sheila Thacker; one brother, Eugene "Geneboy" Davidson; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all, but especially by her furry “talking buddies” Hannah and
Sophie.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor Gregory Tyree officiating.
