John Ambrose Eubank Jr.

Born October 6, 1927, in Amherst, he was a son of the late John Ambrose Eubank Sr. and Estelle Sale Eubank. Mr. Eubank was retired from Truland Electrical and was a member of Sandy Bottom Christian Church.

Survivors also include 3 children, John D. Eubank, of Clifton, Judith L. Fernandez, of Fairfax, and Timothy R. Eubank, of Ellicott City, MD; 5 step-children, Robert J. Firaben, of Staunton, Thomas E. Firaben, of the Dominican Republic, Mark D. Firaben, of Alexandria, Jim H. Firaben, of Bristow, and Melissa L. Brickwell, of PA; 7 siblings, Pete Eubank, of Amherst, Warren Eubank, of Madison Heights, Bunt Eubank, of Alexandria, Robbie Massie, of Monroe, Ann Campbell, of Amherst, Talmadge Eubank and Evelyn Fitzgerald, both of Madison Heights, 22 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 p.m. tonight, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the funeral home, by the Rev. Jim Freeman. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
