Johnny Dale Carson, age 72, of Amherst, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on March 26, 1949 son of the late Johnny H. Carson and the late Ivy S. Carson. In addition to his parents, a brother, Steve Carson, preceded him in death.

Dale was a member of Cross Point Church and the retired owner of Carson Taxidermy. His family was the most important thing in his life.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Suzann Carson; four children, Ben Carson, Forrest Carson (Nichole), Hannah Williamson (Jason) and Emily Elazazy (Samir); a brother, Dennis Carson (Patty); ten grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, Zachary, Leah, SJ, Grady, Carson, Alana, Violet, and Zayna. One great grandchild, Charli, also survives him.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time.
