In loving memory of Justin Michael “Big Kerr” Kerr, 21, of Amherst, who died Tuesday, April 19, 2011. He was born September 16, 1989, in Lynchburg to Rebecca Meador Kerr and the late James Clifton “Pete” Kerr.
Justin was a machinist for S&S Machine Shop and a member of the Sons of the Confederacy. Justin was also baptized on May 25, 2003, at Oak Dale Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, Justin is preceded in death by a special aunt, Nannie Kerr.
In addition to his mother, Justin is survived by two sisters, Brandy Kerr and Crystal Kerr, both of Monroe; his dog, Roscoe Scout Kerr; and although there are too many names to list there are many very dear “brothers and sisters” of Big Kerr’s…you know who you are.
A funeral service will be conducted, 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011, at Whitten Monelison Chapel by the Rev. Terry Wornstaff.
The family will receive friends, 7-9 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence of Rebecca Kerr.
