

Born in Rustburg, September 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Jennings and Addie Moore Jennings. She was retired from GE after 32 years of service and was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
One brother, Walter Jennings and one sister, Christine Hamlett, preceded her in death.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dennis Duff and his wife Donna of Elon and O.G. Morcom, Jr. and his wife Diane of Madison Heights; one daughter, Rhonda Morcom of Monroe; one step-daughter, Brenda Johnson and her husband Willard of Lynchburg; her sister-in-law, Mary Curd, nine grandchildren 16 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge Alesia “PY” Scruggs, Sandra Lunsford, Arnold White and the Centra Hospice staff for the wonderful and loving care they provided to Kathleen.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 12 Noon, Monday, July 18, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. C. Randall Harlow and the Rev. Ed Childress officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12 Noon, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
