Larry Wayne Griffin

Born on April 20, 1958 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Richard Griffin and Lizzie Coleman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard L. Griffin.

Prior to retirement, Larry worked as a truck driver for many years. When he wasn’t driving trucks, he was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed fixing and working on things including cars and lawnmowers. He also enjoyed spending time with his brother, Richard and the two of them enjoyed traveling out of town to go fishing and spending time on the pontoon boat. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his son, James Griffin (Kimberly) and his daughter, Michelle Young (Michael); brothers, Clyde J. Coleman (Cheryl), Danny R. Coleman (Cheryl), Ricky W. Coleman; and eight grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
