Linda Gayle Evans

Born on October 10, 1954 in Lynchburg she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ethel Evans.

She was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church. The most important things in her life were her church and her family.

She is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Ramsey, Charlotte Franklin and husband Rick, and Deborah Meador and husband Jimmy; two brothers, Charlie Evans, Jr. and wife Sharon and Edward Evans; She is also survived by one aunt, Margaret Stump; and an uncle, Paul Evans and his wife Becky as well as numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel where funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December18, 2016 with Reverend Josh Dalton and Reverend George Riggins officiating. Burial will be at Briarwood Cemetery.
