Lois Woody Woody Fulks

Born October 5, 1926 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late John James Woody and Alverta Mae White Woody. Mrs. Fulks retired from C&P Telephone Company after thirty-two years of service. She was also a member of Lynchburg Chapter 1335, Women of the Moose and was an active participant in the Centra PACE Program. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Mrs. Fulks is survived by her son, Wyatt R. “Rocky” Fulks of Lynchburg; her daughter, Yvonne F. Lewis of Madison Heights; four grandchildren, Jonathan Briggs, Brandon Franklin, Tammy Fuller, and Katherine Fulks and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor J.D. Surbaugh, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
