Lorraine Thompson Ann Lee

Lorraine Ann Thompson Lee, 86, of Madison Heights, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at The Elderly Place in Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late Albert H. Lee, Jr. Born September 24, 1926 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Thompson and was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Scott. Mrs. Lee was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where she was also very active with the St. Jude’s Women’s Circle. Mrs. Lee is survived by three sons, John Lee and wife Nikki of Madison Heights, Doug Lee and wife Teresa of Forest, and David Lee and wife Anne of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Monsignor J. Kenneth Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Meade Cemetery in Madison Heights. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorders Assoc.
