

Born October 22, 1934 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar E. and Nannie Worley May and was also preceded in death by one half-brother and three half-sisters. She was retired from the Central Virginia Training Center with twenty-nine years of service.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Linda Mays and husband Jack of Madison Heights; her son, Steve Lawhorne of Rustburg; a brother, Oscar May, Jr. of Amherst; a sister, Joanne May Bradberry of Christiansburg; four grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Anna, and Zach and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Carlton Duck officiating. Interment will follow at Amherst Cemetery. .
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the funeral home and other times at her daughter’s home, 145 Brightwell Road, Madison Heights.
