Mabel Branham Fitzgerald

Mabel Branham Fitzgerald, 66, of Coleman Falls, passed away, Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the home of her daughter, Cathy. She was the wife of the late Teddy Ray Fitzgerald, Sr.

Born October 11, 1944 in Amherst County, she was a daughter of the late Onnie and Alice Branham and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Stinnett and Lillian Whittaker and two brothers, Wayne Branham and Herman Branham. Mom was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Eternal Baptist Church.

Survivors include eight children, Catherine F. Humphreys and husband, Danny of Coleman Falls, Teddy Ray Fitzgerald, Jr. and girlfriend, Pam Garwood and Christopher Earl Fitzgerald and wife, Edith, both of Madison Heights, Yvette Irene Wharam and husband, Ray of Buckingham, Jennifer Fitzgerald Robertson and husband, Jerry of Nelson County, Tanya Alice Taylor and husband, Herman of Buckingham, Kevin Wayne Fitzgerald and girlfriend, Michelle Hankins and Darlene Powell, both of Lynchburg; three step children; one brother, Larry Branham and wife, Martha of Appomattox and two sisters, Margaret Roberts and husband, Clyde of Evington and Linda Salyers and husband, Tommy of Rustburg.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Eternal Baptist Church with Pastor Sidney Wade officiating. Interment will follow in

Vault Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today, January 25, 2011 at the church and other times at the residence.
