

Born June 2, 1963 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Raymond Edward and Barbara Almond Stump. Mark was the owner & operator of Stumps Classics, Inc. and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Christopher Sean Stump of Madison Heights and Tiffany Rae Stump of Lynchburg; three stepchildren, Amy Lynn Wood and husband, Scott, Adam Kyle Boardwine and Anna Elizabeth Boardwine, all of Madison Heights; two sisters, Mary Kathleen Sykes and husband, Powell of Burlington, NC and Mindi Lawhorn of Forest; one brother, Michael Ray Stump of Bedford; one grandson, JaySean Barley; two step-grandchildren, Chase Wood and Caden Wood; a brother-in-law, Brian Lawhorn of Lynchburg and his beloved dog, Roscoe.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Whitten Monelison Chapel the Rev. Mickey Ryan officiating. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens in Amherst County.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, April 23, 2012 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
