 Obituario de Pearl Eagle Campbell
Pearl Eagle Campbell, 83, of Lynchburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born on October 6, 1938 in Appomattox, she was the daughter of the late John A. Eagle and Tincie Eagle Jamerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William “Thell” Campbell, Sr.; brothers, Dillard Eagle, Tom Eagle, Robert Eagle, Lenny Eagle, Lloyd Eagle, Junior Jamerson; and two sisters, Gracie Campbell and Sissy Cannon; a granddaughter, Trinity Burks and a son-in-law, Calvin Wall. She loved listening to country music, especially Conway Twitty and was lovingly referred to as “Nanny” by those that knew her. She loved to cook and was known for her large Sunday gatherings cooking for her family and friends. Please take the time to play Conway’s “Hello Darlin’” in honor of her on Saturday. She is survived by her son, William Thell “W.T” Campbell, Jr. (Missy), her two daughters, Debbie Wall and Kristy Burks (David); grandchildren, Tiffany (David), Josh (Madison), Jamie (Eric), Kaley (Johnny), Sydney (Stefan), Thell, Kacey (Mike), and Devan (Corey); 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way. She will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at 1896 Tabernacle Lane, Forest, VA, 24551.
