The first time I met Jr at Moore's, we were having a dinner for the crew in the warehouse. We started talking, and after about 15 minutes, he said in his slow drawl, " You know, I know your husband.". ???I was stumped. I had to rethink, " Did I say something that was bad or negative or...wait, how does he know my husband?!"
He laughed hard at me, because the look on my face was one of panic I think, but also confusion. He told he me he used to paint...and it all came into focus. My husband is a painter too. I think he picked on me every time I saw him after that. But he always had a smile, a joke, or something good to say about the job he was on, or the day. Too many complain all day at work, but NOT Jr. He was an exceptional human being, and one of a kind. My heart is broken that his light was called home so soon, but now he will shine his light on all of us everyday, laughing through the thunder that is deep like his voice was, and I'll always feel privileged that I could call him my friend.

In a world where everyone is talking about the carbon footprint we leave, I’m reflecting on the print you left on my heart and the heart of others . The stories about your daughter Lilly, and the amazing lady she has become, I feel like I know her. Your LOVE for her speaks volumes of your unconditional love for her, she is truly your legacy. I have seen this in the 12 short years I have known you and you became a true friend . I won’t ever forget the stories about Boo Boo Kitty and Bunny Foo Foo I will treasure them! Thank you JR for your humble nature, love , and friendship . You will be missed by many and cherished by us all! We will miss you Bow . When I see lighting from now on I will KNOW JR said, “turn it up!” RIP my Brother ~Randy

Sadly I had not kept in touch as much as I should have in the year since I left Moore’s and was greatly saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathies and condolences to his friends and family for this loss. I hope and pray you all will find some peace and even joy in the simple remembrance of all the times you shared with him and maybe just the thought of That joking tone and booming voice will bring a smile to your face.

In the year and a half I worked at Moore’s Electrical I was with Jr. Ware 10 to 18 hours a day at times, 4 to 7 days a week. I was a complete green horn to the field of welding and mechanical piping. Jr’s Years of experience and magnetic personality made me feel like I fit right in from the time I met him. He was always willing to humbley share knowledge and show how things were done. No matter how strenuous the work or how long the day his sense of humor and stories helped to brighten the attitude of everyone around. Every new job we went on he would make rounds. Introducing himself to the new general contractor and other workers around. Within minutes he had won them over and made a point to talk and joke with them every time after. Every convenient store or restaurant we stopped at he would chat up the cashiers. Even people around us in line, at a table next to us or passing by seemed compelled to smile, laugh or join in the conversation because of his booming voice and joking tone. He never met a stranger and always left with a new friend.
Jr. was one of the hardest workers I have ever know. He once worked over 40 days straight. His dedication and upbeat attitude he always kept during these times was an inspiration to hang in there, right by his side, to keep at his pace. We were road warriors together. Sometimes with a whole crew, sometimes just the two of us until the job was done. In working with Jr. Ware I had a great mentor because of his experience, a great example of how to always look at the bright side and try to raise the spirits of those around me and mostly, I had a great friend.
