Ruth Delores Wells, 86, of Lynchburg, passed away, Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Oaks of Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late William Earl Wells.
Born March 9, 1925 in Homer, IL, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Lucy R. Hyatt Hurst and was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffery William Wells. She was a retired return desk manager with Kmart in Madison Heights and was a member of the Church of the Epiphany in Amherst.
Mrs. Wells is survived by one son, Eric Wells of Massillon, OH.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 at The Church of the Epiphany with the Rev. William C. Crites officiating.
