Born in Lynchburg on May 23, 1938 she was a daughter of the late James Mays and Eula Cash Mays. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was a retired fabric stocker with Walmart.
She is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her three sons, Timmy Campbell and his wife Stephanie, Mark Campbell and his wife Gayle, and Phillip Campbell and his wife Beverly all of Amherst; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Martin Officiating. Burial will follow in Briarwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
