Shirley Cash Staton Haymore

Shirley Cash Staton Haymore, 78, of Monroe passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Herbert Haymore and the late Herman Staton. Born in Lynchburg on October 25, 1943 she was a daughter of the late James Cash and Easter Cash. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Mays; and two sisters, Betty Cash Barbour and Ella Mae Hartless; and a grandson, Aleph “Luke” Harrison Mays, Jr. Shirley is survived by her children, Rebecca Johnson of Blue Ridge, Janet Perrow (Rick) of Rustburg and Herman Staton, Jr. (Shelia) of Amherst; a brother, James “PeeWee” Cash (Brenda) of Amherst; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Carroll Martin, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Allwood Cemetery.
