I worked at Fort Hill Winn-Dixie With Stella  She was in the Deli, she was a wonderful person I tried to find her on facebook and did a google search and found out she has passed.   We had many great times there.  I worked in the grocery dept. dairy and frozen foods and produce.  We worked with some great people.  Jimmy Mays: Steve Fisher;  Jimmy Kidd just to name a few.  Stella always had a smile and never a bad word about anyone.  Heaven has another angel

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. We worked together at Fort Hill Winn Dixie 1980-1982.  I was with her with she professed her faith in Jesus Christ. Looking forward to seeing you again at the  great reunion in Heaven Because of Christ, our parting is just temporary.  "Shurn" (the nickname she gave me) will see you again. 

Stella will be missed. She always had a smile on her face and was always happy. She was a good neighbor and friend.

I am sending my love and condolences to the Moore Family. To my brother in law Wayne, When you look back and remember your sister think of all the times you shared with love and laughter. It is those thoughts that helps gets you through the difficult days. I love you and here for you and your family if you need anything.

I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up on White Rock Hill and remember the family as a child. As we grow we tend to lose touch with those that touched our lives early. Stella will always be remembered.

I will remember Stella for many reasons; her kindness, her love and, of course, her contagious laugh which went with her everywhere.  She was a dear, sweet friend to me for many years and I will miss her terribly. Stella could always see the good in the world, and I'm sure she helped others to do the same.  She loved her family and friends so much. Rest in Peace dear Stella, you were truly an amazing lady.

We are making arrangements for Stella's memorial service scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 1 at 2:00 PM. at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church on the corner of Fort and New Hampshire Avenues in Lynchburg VA. We know that Stella would love to have her friends celebrate her beautiful life with us. Stella was not particularly fond of floral arrangements so we ask that in lieu of flowers that you make a contribution on her behalf to a charity such as the American Cancer Society, UNICEF, or Grace Memorial Episcopal Church.

Stella was the saint in our family.  She will be greatly missed.  I can still hear her laugh.  Her memorial service and interment will be on Saturday,  August 1 at 2:00 pm.  At Grace Memorial Episcopal Church.

I am so sorry for the loss of Stella. May her memory shine on in your hearts forever.

We are so very sorry for your loss! We loved Puddy. In fact, it would probably be impossible to find someone who did not love Puddy. You all are in our prayers.

Puddy was a loving, thoughtful and giving person.  She helped me and my family in so many ways.  She was a blessing to her family and know they will miss her so much.  But know for the type of person she was that she is with the Lord.  My thoughts are prayers go to her family.

I first met Stella when we worked at Ft Hill Winn Dixie in 1988. I was a cashier and she worked in the deli. Even then, she was always good for a laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding.

Stella (aka Puddy)...what can I say.  You were truly a person who helped people and enjoyed the ability to do so.  You were such a great help to me and my family.  I am heartbroken at the news but am hoping you are receiving the love and care you gave to us here on Earth in multitudes!  Your wit and your kindness will truly be missed.  I pray for those left behind that they can find peace in this difficult time.
