

Born May 8, 1923 in Lunenburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Massie Cofflin and the late Mazie Scott Cofflin and was also preceded in death by a son, Mack Moore. She retired from Flowers Bakery with seventeen years of service and was a member of New Beginning Tabernacle.
Mrs. Moore is survived by seven children, Danny E. Moore and wife Letha of Altavista, Tex L. Moore and Linda M. Goodman, both of Lynchburg, Pam Parker and husband Maurice of Forest, Rusty Moore and wife Roberta of Madison Heights, Cindy Dickerson and husband Sammy of Appomattox, and Danny Moore, Jr. and wife Patricia of Lynchburg; one brother, Charles M. Cofflin of Lynchburg; one sister, Helen C. Crafton of Powhatan; seven grandchildren; one step-grandchild; thirteen great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Whitten Monelison Chapel the Rev. Gary Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and other times at the residence.
