Theresa Marie Rees

Theresa Marie Rees, 46, of Madison Heights passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Michael Wayne Bryant. Born April 6, 1970, in Norwich, NY, she was the daughter of Carin Angle Furgison and the late Dale Robert Furgison.

Theresa was a secretary for Lynchburg City Schools. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother.

In addition to her father, Theresa was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Furgison.

In addition to her husband and mother, Theresa is survived by her children, Skyler Rees, Jonathan Bryant and Matthew Bryant, all of Madison Heights; father and mother in-law, Larry and Denise Bryant of Madison Heights; and other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Mike Fitzgerald officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
