Bennie Lee Lilly

He was born April 19, 1945, to the late Charles Kenneth and Elva Louise Sneed Lilly. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Irene Lilly; daughter, Nancy Capps; brother, John Patrick Lilly; and sister, Jeanette Lilly.

Bennie loved gardening, working on cars and mowing lawns. He was always there for anyone who needed anything and always had words of wisdom and good advice to give.

Surviving are his son, Bennie Lilly II (Rebekah Clary) and daughter, Julina Lilly, all of Charleston; grandsons, Quinn Jones and Christopher Pina, both of Knightdale, NC, and Larry Michael of Graham, NC; 3 great-grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters; nephews and nieces ; friends, Ronald Thompson and Kenny Foster.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Reverend Dr. Terry Polen officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the funeral home.
