

She attended a local business college after graduating from Widen High School and worked with United Airlines at Yeager International Airport. She was a world traveler. After leaving United, she did administrative work with the Public Service Commission at the WV Capitol. She also was a part-time model for the Diamond and Stone and Thomas and attended part time classes at Morris Harvey College.
She attended Elk Hills Presbyterian Church where she sang in the Choir and taught Sunday School for years. She enjoyed listening to the Gaither’s sing, playing checkers and Bingo. A favorite pass time was drinking a good cup of coffee and watching Hallmark movies with her “Sissy” Ann, a devoted and loving sister.
She is pre-deceased by her parents, Hubert and Glada Butler; brothers, Ralph Butler (married to Dorothy) of Charleston and John Butler (married to Jean) of White Post, Virginia. She was married to the late Harold G. Lambert of Charleston.
Surviving is sister, Ann Hanson; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Jean; nephew, Timothy Butler of Charleston; nieces, Julie Philipoom, Jeannine Hodges, and Janette Cascio; stepdaughter, Jo Lambert Blackwood of Charleston and her husband Neale; and many nephews and nieces as well as step-grandsons, (Andrew and Matthew Blackwood); and six step-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum Chapel, Sissonville with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating.
