

She was born May 18, 1938 in Belle, the daughter of Harvey and Bessie Pierson Campbell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert James Mullins, 2 infant children, and sister Berthie Quinn.
She retired from Kanawha Schools with over 20 years of service. She was an active member of Simmons Creek Community Church where she served in various roles over the years. She loved to garden, paint and loved her cats.
She is survived by her children, Jeannie Mullins, of Belle with whom she made her home, Wyatte Mullins (Terry), of Bomont, Lilly Hancock, (David), of Rand; grandchildren, Jonathan Casto (Shannon), Cassy Casto, Justin Graham (Kelly), Christopher Mullins and Josh Hancock, (Krystal); 8 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter, and a host of extended family and friends.
Celebration of Betty’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025, at Simmons Creek Community Church with Pastor Joey Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Simmons Creek Community Cemetery, Belle.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the church.
