Dallas "Mousie" Keith Elswick

Mousie was born in Putney on June 14, 1958, to the late Buddy and Elsie Landers Elswick. He was a former linemen with Power & Telephone Company; he attended Perryville Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mousie loved to help anyone he could in the community and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dewayne Debolt; sisters, Phylis Elswick, Jill Leedy, Thelma Johnson, Kay Allen and Dottie Adams; brothers, Eddie Dean, Ricky, Wendell, Robin and Junior Wayne Elswick.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Roberta Katie Elswick; step-daughter, Kimberly (Jay) Blaney; step-son, Steve (Kim) Facemyer; nephew he raised, Wendell Ray Elswick; sisters, Irma Belcher, Rita (Fred) Creech, Teresa Elswick and Sophia (Richard) Shannon; brothers, Randy Elswick and John (Lynn) Elswick.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Rev. Charles Hardy officiating. Burial will follow at Belcher Family Cemetery, Blount.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
