Devin Lee Fields

He was preceded in death by his brother, baby J; maternal grandparent, Pete Roberts; great-grandparents, Linda and Jim McDaniel, Marie Deknight; great-great grandmother, Ruby McDaniel; aunts, Judy Green, Angela Roberts, and April Vance; uncle, Allen Barefield; cousin, Weston Slater; and best friend, Sean Griffith.

Devin loved going to the beach, listening to music and being home with his mommy, daddy, brothers and sister. He was a former student at Malden Elementary and Kanawha City Elementary. Devin was loved way beyond words by everyone that met him. He had a smile that would light up any room he was in and turn anyone’s bad day to a good day. Devin fought his fight and won his battle!!!

Surviving are his parents, Amy and Jason Fields of Georges Creek; brothers, Matthew Browning and Brennen Fields of Georges Creek; Aaron Fields of Cross Lanes; sister, Teyah Tolley of Georges Creek; grandparents, Becky and David Springston of Georges Creek, Patty Burdette of Charleston, Paul and Kim Fields of Ona, WV; aunts and uncles, Larna Adkins, Jessica and (Timothy) Slater all of Georges Creek, Amber and Ashley Springston of Amma, Brandon and (Brandi) Springston of Spencer, Paul Fields Jr., Billy Fields, Chris Fields all of Charleston, Michael and Ashley Fields of St. Albans, Marie Butterworth of Ona, Jeanie Fields of South Side, WV, and TJ Fields of Fayette County.

Funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Mike Long officiating.

Visitation with family and friends will be held two hours prior to the service.
