

Dolores and Jerald Ray Knapp, her loving husband, shared a life of enduring adoration and a commitment to each other and their faith in Jesus. Together for 70 years, married for 67, they raised three children, nurturing their tight-knit family into one grounded in faith and love. Her deep devotion to Jesus was the cornerstone of her life, inspiring all who knew her with her unwavering faith, kindness, joyful spirit, and grace. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family that will continue to inspire her children and grandchildren who were blessed to call her mom and maw-maw. Dolores will be remembered not only for her strength and dedication but also for the warmth and light she brought into the lives of those around her.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Opal Calvert; sister, Elizabeth Petry Cottrill; and brother Bill Calvert; and her son-in-law, Rick Burka.
She is survived by her husband, Jerald Ray Knapp; sister, Nancy Barber (Dick); sisters-in-law, Nancy Justice (Richard), Sonja Knapp, and Connie Alderman; daughters, Pam Burka and her children, Joshua Burka (Sabrina) and great-granddaughter, Elle, and Mallory Burka-Stanley (Jacob) and great-granddaughter, Monroe; Kerri Kaiser (David) and their children, Rachel, Alex (Claire); son, Leon (Barb) and their children, Christopher (Kaylee), Kara Hall (Tyler) and great- granddaughters, Nora and Ivy, and grandson, Caleb; and a host of family and friends too numerous to count.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Winifrede Presbyterian Church with Richard Justice and John Rollins officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Friday at the Church.
