

She was preceded in death by loving husband, Russell Cox Sr.; loving sons, Dallas Cox of Belle and Thomas Cox of East Bank; and granddaughter, Christine Bryant; and daughter-in-law, Sue Cox.
Survived by sisters, Lucille Brown of Waukesha, Wis. and Lena Haskett of Cannelton; children, Virgie McClung of Belle, Russell Cox Jr. (Cindy) of South Charleston, J. Michael Cox (Kay) of Belle, Edward Cox (Kay) of South Charleston, Deborah Gay of Belle, Patricia Cox of Charleston and Kathy Cox of East Bank; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glendola was a devoted wife, mother and family matriarch. She was an excellent homemaker and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially for her hot rolls and doughnuts. Mom made beautiful quilts for each of her loved ones and our Daddy’s car after he passed.
Services will be at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home in Malden on December 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for viewing and funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Officiating the services will be the Rev. John Hudson of Charleston. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W, Charleston, West Virginia 25312-2536.
