Kyle William Fleck, 70, passed away peacefully at home on January 29th. Kyle spoke often of being anxious to go home and be with his savior, Jesus Christ, and to be reunited with family who have gone on before him. Kyle retired as a sales rep for Tom’s Snacks and had a long and proud career in that industry, beginning with Stork’s Bakery. After graduation from Charleston High School in 1965, Kyle served proudly and with distinction in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He had many good friends over the years and loved traveling the country with them on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Kyle will always be remembered as a selfless man who was never too busy to help repair a friend’s or family member’s home or car, no matter the weather or time of day or night. He always showed up during a crisis and he never left until the problem was resolved. He truly loved and cherished his family and friends and that love was returned in full by all who knew Kyle. Over the past few years Kyle spent any time he wasn’t home being a wonderful witness for his Lord and Savior. He lived the Gospel and shared it with friends and strangers alike. He was truly a wonderful man, brother, Christian, son and friend. Kyle will be and is already greatly missed. Our loss is Heaven’s gain and Kyle is now in the arms of his Savior and of the family members that he has missed so much. Kyle is survived by sister, Charlotte (Robert) Hill of Parkersburg; and brothers, James (Helen) Fleck of DuPont City and David Fleck of Charleston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws around the state and country. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Todd Hill officiating. The burial will follow the service at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Family and friends will gather for the visitation on Tuesday, January 31, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
