Mary Katherine Rose

Mary was born in Charleston on February 1, 1925 to the late Morris & Ethel Stephens Nunley. She was a former employee of the Heart of Town in Charleston.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lawrence Rose.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Marie (Skip) Burdette of Winfield, Linda (John) Sword of DuPont City, Freda Johnson of Cross Lanes & Sharon O’Daniels of Charleston; sister, Virginia “Jenny” Darnell of Dry Branch; Seven Loving grandchildren, Donna Tittle, Michael Sword, Matthew Burdette, Joshua Wood, Arron Posey, Luke Wood & Philip Sword; 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A visitation with family & friends will be held Tuesday January 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
