Mathew Otis Dearien

Mathew O. Dearien, 40 of Charleston passed away on May 3, 2022. Preceding Mathew in death were his mother, Karen Reveal; grandparents, Gordon “Buzz “and Opal Dearien, Horace and Barbara Brown, and Harvey Otis Parsons. Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Bob and Brenda Dearien; sister, Julie (Robbie) Sparrow of Kings Mountain, NC; brothers, Randy (Tabby) Dearien of Charleston, and Mark Parsons of Cincinnati, OH; nephews, Payton and Gabe Sparrow and Liam Dearien; nieces, Caroline and Rylee Sparrow and Jozie Dearien; his special friend, Darrell Campbell; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mathew was a member of Maple Hill Baptist Church. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday May 9, 2022 at Maple Hill Baptist Church, Rutledge Road with Uncle/Preacher Randy Wilson officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow the service at Dearien Cemetery on Springfork Drive, Campbells Creek.
