

Naomi Belle Herrald Bracken, 90, of Campbell’s Creek went to be with the Lord March 3, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 19, 1924 to the late Rev. James and Ella Herrald. Also preceding her in death were her loving husband of 65 years, Woodson M Bracken, grandson, TJ Elswick and great grandson Benjamin Bracken. Left to cherish her memory are sons David (Jane) Bracken, Ernest (Sally) Bracken; daughters Diana (Steve) Bossie and Vanesse Myers (James Comuzie); brothers James (Jean) Herrald of FL, Joe (Barbara) Herrald of VA; sisters Helen Wentz of Campbell’s Creek and Joyce O’Dell of VA; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Spring Missionary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Naomi was a compassionate care-giver and known throughout the valley as the Tupperware Lady for 25 years. She worked in her later years at Elder-Berman as a seasonal gift wrapper and later moved into customer service and worked until age 82. She was a true witness for Christ and was loved by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held Friday March 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Campbell’s Creek, with Pastors Mike Long and David Bracken officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. A visitation with family and friends will be held Thursday March 5 from 7 to 9 PM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Kanawha Hospice 1606 Kanawha Blvd W. Charleston, WV 25312 or to Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church 320 Campbell’s Creek Drive, Charleston WV 25306.
