Ricky was born in Charleston on November 11, 1952, to the late Phillip and Helen Mays Keeney. He was a 1971 graduate of DuPont High School, retired from Edgewater Apartment Buildings in Charleston, a member of Malden Baptist Church and an avid fisherman.
He is survived by sister, Teresa (Richard) Withrow of Dunbar; brothers, David (Diana) Keeney of Rand and Roger (Amanda) Keeney of Diamond; several nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews; and his beloved dog, Snickers.
A visitation for Ricky will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Rick Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
